Where is Mary Poppins when you need her?!?

So as I begin packing to go home, I have come to the conclusion that I have way too much stuff and have no idea where all of it has come from. I remember packing to go to school back in August promising myself that I will only bring the necessities because I knew how much I would be hating repacking it now, but of coarse that obviously didn't stop me during winter and spring break to continue to bring things back from home. When it comes to packing, I always think about my favorite part in the classic movie, "Mary Poppins," where she snaps her fingers and everything goes into its respectable place. I tend to find myself sometimes snapping hoping it'll actually happen and unfortunately nothing ever does :( I guess blasting music and dancing around my dorm room while I pack will just have to work for now.

Summer is so close, I can't stop talking about it. I'm getting so anxious!

just get me home already...

There is no where I want to be more than back in New Jersey. Although I do love being at school (for the most part) and Pennsylvania is a great state, nothing will ever compare to Westfield. These next two weeks of school are going to be beyond stressful and there is nothing like my mom's cooking or a silly joke from one my siblings to make me rush home. If I could push a button to get me to May 7, I would do it instantly. Although I have no real exciting summer plans to look forward to, I'm sure spontaneous things will pop up somewhere :) The day I get home I have to go in for a job interview so hopefully something good will come out of that!

I've also come to realize that being a senior in college is going to be one of the most depressing times of my life. After chapter last night, the seniors in my sorority had to read their senior wills, which brought the whole sorority to tears. It's time like these when you realize how amazing being part of something so special as a sorority really is. The bond I have will all 64 women in my chapter is something that you just can't explain -- it's truly something special. I can't even imagine being on their side right now and imagining my real "big girl" life starting.

Going to the Mets and Phillies game on Friday which should be fun! Of coarse, I will be rocking my Mets T-Shirt with pride, although I feel as though I might get some distasteful looks from my friends... oh well! It'll totally be worth it :)

Oh no :( I have been terrible with updating this thing, but my mind has been congested with so many things that are going on right now. Summer is a little over two weeks away and it can not come ANY sooner. School has been far from easy and I am ready to surround myself with the people I love and start enjoying life a little more.

I have come to notice that lounging around my dorm room after just getting out of the shower, just in my towel, may just be one of the most relaxing things to do on a school morning (of coarse only when the roommate isn't here). As weird as that may sound, it's true! I mean, I don't have much initiative to get dressed because then that means I may just have to do something productive with myself, but as for right now, I am content.

I'm considering getting myself a monogramed necklace, so I have been doing some searching around, and really like these two:

I am not much of a yellow gold fan, so of coarse I would choose to have them been in silver or white gold, but I do like the idea of those two!

Happy Monday everyone,

This beautiful weather has been keeping me inside and consequently from blogging. I went home and spent the beautiful Easter and my mom's birthday with the family.

It was so beautiful that we were able to set up a table outside and enjoy our fabulous feast of honey glazed ham, sweet potatoes, corn and apple pie for dessert (there were other things-- those just happened to be my favorite :) ). It was nice to get away from the hectic life at school and be around the people I love (it also makes me hate coming back to school.) The countdowns to summer and my birthday have begun and I honestly can not wait. Until then -- I will be spending countless hours in the library and hating my life (well not really but just about!)

Hope everyone has been having a good day!
